Theme Day Thursday January 19, 2012 Art Philosophy & Valentine Die Cuts

If you have just started following my blog I would like to tell you about Theme Day Thursday and Cartridge exploration. Each day of the week, we make items with either a challenge, theme or a cartridge. Today's theme is Valentine Day die cuts. The cartridge exploration is Art Philosophy.
I also wanted to remind you that I am still working on the retail store. My grand opening is Tuesday!!!! I still feel like I have 10 more weeks of work to do before the opening, but I will get it done. Also the webstore is EXPANDING by about 5,000 items. I am so excited for that too. There is alot going on around here too. We are working on finalizing the blog hops, challenges and swaps, soon they will all be up on our schedule. I will also be posting a calendar on here at the top so you will know we are going to do for that week/month. We also have MANY surprises that we will share as soon as I can! As always please make sure to visit the Design Team's blogs and let them know you LOVE that they are sharing their creativity with all of you!

Festive Friday November 4th, 2011

Hey everyone! Welcome to another Festive Friday and another Countdown to Christmas Cartridge winner!!
Here are a few things that I am working on... the biggest thing is updating the Cricut CraftRoom (CCR) Guide. I am adding screen shots and my commentary.... this is a huge project as they have made so many changes to CraftRoom. I have been using it since February so I have learned so much!!!! SO MUCH!!! I want to share it with all of you. My mind has so much to share, I just need the time and energy to do so. I am working as fast as I can with how I feel. I am still adjusting to the new medication they have me on.... I have to decided which day to take it because I sleep for about 36 hours after I take it. Running a blog and business it is not very conducive to my list of things to do. That is why I am hiring help ;)

Personal stuff. I really need the Cricut Creative Memories cartridge Best of Times, that came with the E2. It is just a $25 cartridge but you could only get it if you got the E2 from Creative memories. I am willing to trade it for ANY current Cricut cartridge that is not retired. It has a cute penguin that I want. I need it NOT uploaded to a gypsy. Like I said it is only $25, but I am willing to trade for ANY cartridge or pay $40 for it. Thanks! Please email me EricaCraftRoom@aol.com with the subject BEST OF TIMES. It will be available for purchase on its own in a few months. But I love penguins and really want it now, rather than waiting for it.

Here are today's projects....

Shelly Lynn used lots of Halloween carts
Her blog address is http://kccroppers.blogspot.com/

Tina from Crafty and Green used Home Decor & Mother's Day Bouquet to Create this Card.

So here is my list of things to do and upcoming/current contests.
Update CCR Guide. (2 day project)
Add ALL cartridges available to webstore (Before Saturday morning, pictures will come later)
Have office staff add Cuttlebug embossing folders to store
Set up email accounts for upcoming events and sign ups.
Have office staff  download pictures to add to store of paper and tools
Have office staff handle 25 projects a day sign ups I need to set up a blog for that.
Set up the contest to win the Cricut Cake machine.
Set up contest for the two Cricut Everyday Cartridges
Set up contest to win the French Manor cartridge.
Fix shipping errors (ship them out on Monday)
I will be adding a page on my website that will show you ALL of the contests I have going on so you will never miss one again!
When discount cards get here ship them to first week customers (as soon as they get to my house)
And about 7 more major things to do.... (Again why I am hiring help)

Here is how to win one of the TWO Cricut Everyday Cartridges. Tomorrow full details will be posted.
I will be giving away TWO of the Cricut Everyday cartridges. In December we are having Princess Bella's Birthday blog Hop. Bella (my daughter) turns 4. The design team is making the projects but here is how you can get in too! You have to make a 12x12 or 8x8 scrapbook 2 page scrapbook layout. Here is the theme and colors. Pink and Purple, Disney Princess or any princess. You will then need to mail it to me. It needs to be in the mail by December 1st if you live in the USA, earlier if you live internationally. December 9th I will announce the winner on Ustream. It is a random drawing so even if you do not have a ton of talent. You could still win. This will also be a 'Present' for Bella. Remember she is turning 4 loves purple, Ariel... well all princess stuff. Ballet...etc. She is a girly girl. I am then going to put all of the pages together for a book for her. This is also a way for me to find new Design team members ;) I do understand that that can be costly. So because i do know that Christmas is coming up and the economy isn't the best. So the other cartridge will be for email entries... I will provide details on how to email to enter without making a project. So there really aren't rules for the scrapbook page entry. Just a 12x12 or 8x8 scrapbook page for a princess. It does NOT need to be a birthday page. Just anything you can think of for a 4 year old girl who likes purple and princesses and flowers, Tinkerbell, butterflies...etc. Use your creativity. I will also have a few other little prizes for creativity and most creative. I will also be picking ONE person from the entries to be a new member of my Design Team

I am going have this 'Tis the season cartridge Available for purchase tomorrow, details will be on my blog tomorrow how to purchase it at a discount.

Here is today's Countdown to Christmas winner... they win the Cricut Winter's in the Air Holiday cartridge. If you like the images on here, it will available on my Shop to purchase tomorrow! If you would like to win a free cartridge that I give away EVERY week. Just comment on my blog once per post. I pick a winner every Friday to win the cartridge and you never know which cartridge I will be giving away until Friday when I announce it. So make sure starting today and until next Thursday at 11:59pm EST you comment on each blog post I make.

...and the winner is....
