My Mind can Design Monday May 20, 2013 - Child Theme Cartridges with a twist

Erica (me) made these first 4 layouts. I used Cricut The First Few Years for all of them and I just followed the book for the dimensions suggested. I love this cartridge because everything is already proportional for a 12x12 layout. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this cartridge. They layouts seem pretty simple or as jazzy as you want to make them. You can see in the first one how much extra "bling" I added to it. I also used stickles to sparkle up the borders. I also used white liquid pearls to make the white dots "pop"

This is Best Creation Safari Girl paper (a few years old)

This is American Crafts Neapolitan paper collection
"Happy Day" and the Ice Cream cone is from The First few Years

Shelly used Disney Happily Ever After Cricut cartridge to make this travel tissue holder. To see how she made it please visit her blog at  cardsbyshelly

Marilyn made this partriotic card using My World and A Child's Year cartridges.  To see how she made this card, visit her blog at Marilyn's Cricut Cards.

Sandy H. used A Child's Year, Plantin Schoolbook, When I was a Kid and The First Few Years to make these layouts. To see how she made them please visit her blog at:

Melissa C. used Locker Talk and Mickey Font to create this two page scrapbook layout. To see how she made them, please visit her blog at http://iamapapermaniac.blogspot.com.

These are adorable. What are you using to outline or fillin, like on the feet and words?

Also forgot to ask about the white dots on the baby steps, is that the paper or what?
