The Magical Life of Faires Blog Hop

You should have started at Pamela's Blog http://kraftykatstampstudio.blogspot.com

Welcome to the Blog Hop, the Magical Life of Fairies.

What little girl doesn’t dream of carrying a fairy in her pocket?

Today, we have a lot of talented women that want to show off their beautiful fairies,

that they created.

So please join the party and fly around with us!!!

Oh, silly me, I forgot to mention we have some wonderful Blog Candy!!!

The Scrapbook Stamp Society, http://scrapbookstampsociety.com, has agreed to sponsor the hop and will offer $12 worth of FREE fairy related digis as a prize for this hop.

All you have to do is visit every blog and leave a comment.
We would sure love it if you would start following our blogs, also.

Here is my Fairy Princess

I have a little girl who just LOVES Fairies....

I thought I would show a few different things today.

An idea/tutorial and instead of a paper craft.

I wanted to show you a Fairy Princess Bedroom!!!

The other side of her room has a castle on the wall and Tinkerbell at the top (If you have ever been to Disney World and stayed for the fireworks you know Tinkerbell "Flies" before the fireworks :)

I hand painted all of her clouds and then I hid words like, Love, Hope, Dream, Imagine in the clouds.

I have found many questions on my facebook, what cartridge has "such and such"

I know there are a few sites on the internet... but why go to an off site to search for Cricut images.... why not go straight to Cricut for the answer???

Use Cricut Craft Room as your "search"

Even if you do not want to USE craftroom to design, at least use craftroom to search all of the most current and up to date resource!

Go here to start in craftroom http://www.cricut.com/craftroom/default.html

It will automatically download.

Follow the prompts. If you do not have a Cricut.com account you can create one in a just a few VERY simple steps.

If you already have an account or have already used craftroom, continue here....

If you do not have an account, make sure that you use an email and pass word that is easy to remember.

After you install and log in. You are ready to get started.

I am just going to help you search for an image today.

Across the bottom is called the drawer.

If you click on the drawer There are little tabs labeled IMAGES and OVERLAY

The first drop down Menu wants you to select what type of cartridges you are looking for :

Cricut Craft Room Cartridges

Font Cartridges

Famous Friends (licenced --Disney, Creative Memories, Close To My Heart...etc)

Cake Cartidges.....

And more.

Select ALL CARTRIDGES.

Then the other drop down bar to the right says ALL IMAGES

The next item is where you type what you are looking for.

I typed Fairy.... then got ENTER on my keyboard

Then it lists all of the cartridges with fairy images on them. To the right there is a green button that says Image View or Cartridge View.

You can either view all of the cartridges that have them then click on the arrow to see what it looks like or you can view the IMAGES tab and it will show you the actual images.

You can also just search the cartridges that you own. Instead of selecting ALL cartridges, you can select MY CARTRIDGES in the first step in exploring the drawer at the bottom.

I did a search for Fairy, Obviously I would think TinkerBell first.... The search came up with 14 cartridges with a Fairy on them. I did a search on another "CUT" website and it missed a few images on Cartridges....

I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial and share of my Fairy Princesses' room!
