Wednesday, November 28th - WYEGW - Make gift packaging

Today the Design Team was challenged to make gift packaging.... what a great job they did. They are always up to the challenge!!

Jamie used Christmas Cheer to make this cute tree for this simple gift bag.

Check out the details on her blog http://craftygirl21.blogspot.com/

Tammy S. created a cute gift box, table center piece using Cindy Loo, Art Philosophy.
For more details check out her blog at http://cuttinandstampin.blogspot.com.

Teresa recycled containers to make these really cute treat containers. She used Jolly Holidays, check out the blog at Fresh and Renewed for more details.

My favorite time of year!

We are doing a few things different than we did last year.....
Instead of the 25 days of Christmas from December 1-25, we ALWAYS like to stay ahead so that you have plenty of time to make your crafts.... so we have started today November 12th. There will be a ton of inspiration and a few of last year's amazing projects, we just might dig them up again for you because they were that great!

This also is the time of year for our seasonal design team....

This is for December 1-31, 2012
This is not for a permanent place on our design team. This is just to help out our design team who works so hard to create and share with you all year long. We give them time off so they can craft for their homes, families and friends, and just enjoy a little R & R.
But we want to keep giving you a ton of inspiration.
So this term is ONLY from December 1-31, 2012.
It is similar to a guest designer, but for a month rather than just one day.
So applications are accepted today through Sunday December 2, 11:59pm EST.
The Seasonal team will be announced Monday December 3, 2012
To apply please email your application to EricasTeam@aol.com
with the subject line Seasonal DT Application
Please email me ONE project you have made with your cricut.
Also include your name, facebook name, email address and blog address.

Beginners are VERY VERY welcome. All I ask for beginner and advanced talent, is that when you post try to give as many instructions as possible.
You MUST use cricut cartridges, no SVGs and no Digi-stamps.
During this time there should be NO solicitation for sales of ANY kind.
This is just to showcase your talent and blog.
You will be posting at least one project a week during December, you may post more if you would like.

Would You Ever Guess Wednesday November 7, Bonus features from a Licensed Cartridge

Notice anything different this week????

Well we had a few design team members move on from us.
We wish them all of the best as we consider them our online family.
I know many of them will still come to look at what the other design team members have made.
I am truly sad about them leaving. I also consider them friends.
So it is not easy seeing them move on.
With everything else going on in my life (flood, divorce, and health issues)
The thing that saddens me the most is losing those design team members.
It is hitting me VERY hard. I know many of you think I am strong .... which I think I am.
But every so often it is ok to be sad about something (that just means I am human)
Here is the shame on me..... I let my personal life totally consume me, my soon to be Ex-Husband has really torn me down. Each day there is a 2 hour lecture that I get saying all of the things that I do wrong.... seriously 2 hours EVERY DAY. After 2 hours of that I just want to go to bed.
And I have been doing that.... each day, I go to bed. During that time, I would sign into facebook and not even look in my design team's facebook group. So I totally neglected my team and my customers. It is my fault that they have moved on. There is no blame or anything else....
Just me and what I did. I am very sorry to you ladies. I wish I could make it up to all of you.

Here is the silver lining...... (you knew I was going to find one) As sad as I am to see several design team members go, there is a new way of 10 Design team members that will be moving into the permanent positions after they are with the team for 30 days. As far as those who have left, I would probably do the same, but I do want to thank you for all of the time you have spent here and in the end the biggest thing that you all have given me was a wake up call. I was so consumed with the divorce that I didn't have my heart in my team or business. Now I know what I did and I am working my butt off to make it up to the teams members who did stay with me.  So now the two things that I have neglected I am giving all of my heart to, my team and my business.
I have many things to make up to many people, and I am going to do it.

So this week we are showcasing ONE person and ONE project each day.
Don't worry next week all will be back to normal.
We have structured the team now to post 5 projects each day
for you to enjoy and spark your crafting Mojo.

Nadja used Spongbob Squarepants, Jolly Holidays and Christmas Cartridges for this card. For more details please visit her blog at http://nadjarobbins.blogspot.com/2012/11/would-you-ever-guess-wednesday-november.html

Seriously we are 75% of the way to Christmas!!! Oh my!!! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!
So this is a great time to announce that we are going to do the same thing that we did last year.... here is the problem that I saw with it.... It was December 1-25 (the 25 days of Christmas)
But it did not give you all time to make the projects that we showed....
So we will be doing this in November!
November 6- December 7, for 25 days. 12 Projects each day!
Each day we will show you 12 projects a day with a Winter/Christmas theme.

2. You will be on the Design Team from November 1- December 31
3. December 7- December 31, Only the seasonal team will be posting.

4. At the end of your December 31st term you may be offered to continue into 2013....
5. You do not have to have design team experience

Please submit an email to apply for the Seasonal Design team.

I know not everyone celebrates Christmas....
So we are also going to have a Happy Hanukkah HopDecember 8-16 Technically 9 days. So we will be looking for AT LEAST 9 people to be a part of this hop. One for each day. I will post each day one or more  Hanukkah  projects. But I know nothing about  Hanukkah , so I would LOVE if some of you can help me. Please comment here if there is a daily theme or symbolic things that we should set as each daily theme. THANK YOU in advance. I am also looking for people to be in the hop. I NEED 9, but I can add more than one project each day.... the more the merrier!  Here is the facebook group if you would like to make a project for this Blog Hop.....
you do NOT need to celebrate  Hanukkah  to to be in this hop, ANYONE can do it.
