The winner will be announced one week after the hop closes so that everything can be checked. That winner will be on Monica's blog.
I made an Easter basket with the help of my 4 year old Mini-Me.
She really wanted to help and when she is 14 she might be like every other teenage girl and not want to help her mom.... so I am taking advantage of her help while I can.
So she added her bunnies and a few extras. I am sorry that this is not perfect but.... again my little assistant wanted to help and wants to see it on my blog. YES she is 4 and knows what a blog is and how to get to it on the computer and I-pad, so there was no way of changing the picture or she might be upset.....so a project from me and my little one.
If you have seen Bambi you will recognize Miss Bunny, Thumper's girl friend and her baby.
I made the Easter basket on the right using Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2. I cut the basket at 5 1/2" I used the paper handle but covered it with ribbon so I used cute ribbon but used the paper to make it stiff and stand up. The small "happy meal" box was cut at 3 1/2" and my little one decided it should be her lunch box for school. The pail is 5" tall and has We R Memory Keepers rub ons. I am in love with this collection and have all of the papers to match.
For the ribbons I just tied them on one simple knot each, BUT I turned them all so the opposite side of the knot is showing and it is not wild and messy like the ribbons normally look. ACTUALLY it is the messy look on the other side, so I have my choice which side I want to face out. The other way everyone does but I like how pretty this side looks and it is different from what I normally do.
I got this ribbon in the dollar section at Target and it matches perfectly. I did learn on the clear pail rub-ons do NOT work well. I had to use two sets over top of each other and match them up exactly on top of each other. But the colors are very vivid now and I love it!
I love this cute little frog!
He doesn't look as cute here as he does in person!
My little one took this picture and wanted to make sure her Grandma sees her bunny (her Grandma got it for her with her two little dalmatians from the Disney Store) Grandma - she also said you can have her to sleep with so you won't be lonely in your room.
She wants to send it to you for your birthday present.
I am also giving away blog candy.... the NEW Spring Cottage Cricut cartridge. If you do not win it, it is only $24 in my webstore.
The other new cartridges are $36 (Paper Dolls Teen Scene and Art Deco) The new Imagine cartridge is only $33 for Contemporary Nature . www.shop.ericascraftroom.com
