Welcome to Would You Ever Guess Wednesday!
I know we have some new followers since I have explained
Would You Ever Guess Wednesday (WYEGW)
On a Wednesday we like to stump you and make you say.... "I would never have thought of that"
So we take a cartridge and look at the keypad overlay then we take the feature keys on the top left.
Some examples of 'feature' keys are: Card, Tag, Border, Purse, Icon- just to name a few.
We do not use the image itself that you see on the back of the box.
We also do not use the shadow feature key of the image.... that would be the same as using the image itself.
The other option is to use a cake cartridge to make a paper craft or to use a regular cartridge to make an edible project.
Yes cake cartridges can be used in ALL Cricut machines....
they really have some great images on them and they really deserve another look.
For example I made this card using A Child's Year.
I did not use the image itself on the back of the box.
I used the card feature to make the card above. I used the icon features to make the snowflakes below. I cut them at different sizes to layer them.
I also used the tag feature to make the tag on the inside of the card below
Here is also the full link if you would like to look at the "how-to" for this card
