Today the design team had the choice of making a project with a Bear or Duck in it, or they could have used the spring seasonal cartridges from any year.....
I FINALLY got to meet Susan my Design Team Leader in California....
She is one of the ladies on the Design Team that helps me keep my sanity.... :)
It is always so wonderful to put a face and personality to the name and the hard work.
I get to meet several more of the Design Team ladies on Sunday and I am SO EXCITED!
I think California has the most Design Team members. Ohio we only have 4, California there are 6 ladies out here. My husband travels 42 weeks a year!!!! CRAZY!!! But one great thing is that on occasion I go with him and I get to meet new friends from my blog or facebook.... It is so nice. I know people can watch my Ustreams, but I don't get to 'see' you on Ustream. So for me to put a face with the name, it is great.
Today is a day for my little one. Yesterday we met and crafted with Susan and today is Sea World.... She is so good when I do crafty things, Sea World was not in our plans, but Hubby let her pick the brochure for Sea World out of the lobby of the hotel.... so our plans shifted a bit...
Our life has been quite aquatic for some time now and Dolphin Tail just solidified that. Now there is that new movie with Drew Berrymore with the Whales....
Right now she tells us she wants to be a dolphin doctor.
So Hi Ho, Hi Ho, its off to Sea World we go......
First here is the card that WE made with the NEW Spring Cottage Cricut Cartridge....
I has also put this cartridge on sale TODAY for only $22
The cottage and fence was from the Spring Cottage Cricut Cartridge. The "Sun" was an I-top punch then I used the Doodlebug Girl Colors twine to wrap yellow and Orange around the image.
I use the K. Andrew Designs All Animals Stamp set as well as
I used the My Creative Time Spring stamps for the bunny and the grass and flowers on the cottage.
I used craft room to make the cottage, this is on a 4x6" card so you can imagine how little the fence is.
I can send you my CCR files if you would like it. Please email EricaCraftRoom@aol.com with the subject Spring Cottage File. You can only cut this images if you own the cartridge, but I can still share the file with you in case you buy this cartridge later on.
The house is ABOUT 3", the fence is about 1".
I used Brilliance Coffee Bean ink for the bunny and the sentiment stamps. I also used Yellow and Tangelo Momento ink to give the colors to the sun. I also used a chocolate Brown gel pen to give the little lines around the card. I finished it off with a stamp for the large cloud and it needed more so I drew them in.
It was still missing something.... so I always know that "A little bling fixes everything!"
So I added Clear glitter embossing powder and heat set it....
I was finally happy at 1:00 am (4:00 am MY time)
I made this with Susan and I was going to give it to her.... then we decided it would by my first entry for my SMASH book!!! It was perfect and actually matched the inside front cover of the book.
It was Orange and Brown.... PERFECT!!!
Here are the other Design Team member's projects.....
One last personal note.... There are MANY ladies on my design team that need prayers right now... I respect their privacy and will not say who or why, but there are 10 of them right now with personal things, so please if you pray, they could REALLY REALLY use it! If you don't pray, sorry to sneak this in here.
I TOTALLY respect every one's choice of religion or absence of.
So I hope I have not offended anyone.... I do pray so I would just like a few more prayers for them.
They REALLY need it.
