Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!
For my project, I'm featuring the Fall-O-Ween
Here is my project. I had so much fun making these. I do have to be honest this is my second attempt at this. I made thema nd ran my husband to the airport and since we only have one dog now, we let her have free reign of the house.... well she felt the dining room table was a place she could go.
She is an 85lb. Chocolate Lab. I wish I could have seen her up on this table though :)
The theme of this is Thank-FALL. I made this little tray of goodies to take to my Sister-in-Law's house tomorrow for a candle party. I am thankful to have great friends and family to share these yummy goodies with tomorrow (Saturday)This is a combination of CREEPY Cupcakes, Cit-Cats, and Oreo Cookies.
I jsut made regular cupcake, frosted them orange and put spider psrinkles on them, the little black ones were made with an orange silcone pumpkin mold. Then frsoted with orange and purple frsoting and swirled for fun. All of the cupcakes were dusted with Disco Dust, edible non-toxic glitter.
For the Kit-Kat wrappers I started with white frosting sheets.
Then I used Orange icing tint
I sread it with a spatula to get it as even as I could
I couldnt find a clear block so I put my stamps on a tuper-ware lid
I then stamped with the edible icing colors in black the saying I wanted on the large frosting sheet
As you cane see here, I ddi NOT ink all of the letters I like the make the phrases really fit, whether they need an "s" or not. I just dont ink the S if I dont need it.
I then used Cricut CraftRoom to change Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge image to make a rectangle where I needed it to cut the words I stamped. Here are some of the cute sayings I came up with and you can see how I 'wrapped' them around the mini Kit-Kat bars. This saysTRICK OR SWEETand BOO ME UP SOME FUN
SWEET with wings and the skull and I glittered the bones below the skull.
These sayBOO-HOO TO YOU
and YOU DONT SCARE ME
TREAT ME and TOO CUTE TO SPOOK
BOO TO YOU
TOO CUTE TO SPOOK
These were the frosting sheets cute into circles with Cricut Essentials. Stamped with YOU DONT SCARE MEI thought most people twist open thier Oreos so i have a surprise inside for them. These are Halloween oreos with Orange cream found, after going to 5 places, at Walmart.
TREAT
My assistant and her cupcakes
And the culprit of the first batch

Awwwww, we just lost our 15 year old chocolate lab - Jacob Marley The Christmas Dog (yes, that was his name) I made a huge cake one day- half chocolate - half yellow. Well Jake ate the chocolate half while I ran to the store. My son said, "But mom, he needs the chocolate to stay chocolate." Now, being a vet tech for a number of years, I disagree - but in his own way it made sense to him...GRRRR!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat Job!!!
