Theme Day Thursday August 18, 2011 SHOPPING!

This week's Thursday Theme is SHOPPING!

The Design Team ladies have made such great things to share with you today.
As always please dont forget to visit their blogs to see how they have made these items AND all of the other stuff that they have made. Because the do have daily blog postings also, not jsut what they share with us. They make other great things... They are on some other design teams and make some items that are thier own ideas, not a theme set by my blog on a given day. They also have giveaways and other great thing going on, so it is a great way to see more than just what they are showing you here.

Laura used used Doodlecharms and her Gypsy to weld two images together to make a shaped card. How adorable is this?!?!?!?

Emily used Pink by Design's "Shop-a-holic" stamp set for the sentiment, Sophisticated for the tag, Art Philosophy for the inner scalloped rectangle, and Gypsy Wanderings for the shoe.
THE BEST PART OF THIS IS, She used paper by Authentique Paper Co... WHICH IS THE NEW DESIGN TEAM SHE IS ON!!! CONGRATS EMILY!!!!
She is on so many design teams, including Pink By Design, My Cricut Craft Room, Authentique Paper Co., and Little Scraps of Heaven!!
Make sure you visit her today  http://createserendipity.blogspot.com/

I am going to share Jen L's creation she is under the weather (I know what that is like) So she does not have any more about this on her blog today, but I really wanted to share it with you :) She used Pop up Neighborhood , Paisley , Cricut everyday Cartridges
http://www.mybusycraftylife.blogspot.com/ Remember this is not on her blog today as she is under the weather, Let's hope she feels better soon!

Tomorrow is Festive Friday, and dont forget this weekend is our Card and Invitation Blog Hop!

Project Sunshine and Smiles for St. Jude's Children's Hospital, hopefully the following will help answer some questions....

Cards for Project Sunshine and Smiles at St. Jude's. The ONLY rule is please don't remind the child how sick they are, get well soon is ok to write. Please write a message to a child.... I can't hand write 5,000 cards, so if you could help me....write a small note to the child who is receiving it. Even making ONE card can help these little ones out. Envelopes are not needed, they kids will get to pick their own so it would be nice for them to see them (if you want to put it in an envelope that is ok too) The card can be any size, for any age, boy or girl. They can be for infants, toddlers, school age children, teenagers! They all deserve a BIG smile, at least we can bring it to them for one day! If you would like to make a card for a birthday (obviously I will not know who's birthday it is, but I can leave them with the nurses or Volunteers to extend our little project and smiles into the rest of the year. As far as how to make these cards.... There are really no rules.... anything you want!
It does NOT have to be made
with the Cricut.
My daughter and I have made some cards using just stickers.  If you have a child who would like to make a card.... that's great too.
Please mail these by the first week of September. Have a party or social gathering to make cards! What a great idea! I cannot wait to take these to the hospital. I am in Ohio, but I will be making the trip down to Memphis, TN to deliver them. If you have any questions please email me EricaCraftRoom@aol.com with the subject SUNSHINE AND SMILES. Thank you in advance for helping these children who are in such need of a happy card.

Please mail them to:
