Well what is Festive Friday all about?
I have been trying to explain the theme of each of the days of the week. So the basis of today (Festive Friday) was based on my favorite festive day *CHRISTMAS* Just a few of my favorite things.... Family, Christmas, Cricut and Disney, in no particular order, except family IS first. So, I thought what a better way to stay festive all year long! I LOVE Christmas but I do realize and respect the fact that others may not like or even celebrate Christmas, so I think it is great for everyone to be festive in thier own way.
The only real theme of today is to be Festive..... so this includes Halloween (seems to be todays favorite) Valentine's day, thanksgiving, birthdays....etc.
Within that theme the design team may create ANYTHING they want..... My only 3 rules for them on the days that they are featured here is to use thier Cricut Cartridges, No SVGs, and No digital stamps. Now the ladies are on some other design teams..... that have rules different than mine, so I encourage you to check out thier blogs to see the other things that do not fit in my rules for the days they do stuff with me.
Outside of the 3 rules... they may create ANYTHING they want as long as it falls under the 'name' of the day. Today being FESTIVE FRIDAY! They can make a card, scrapbook layout, home decor item, clothing or fabric item, vinyl...etc
My hope for you as a reader/follower is that, with so many members on my design team and so many samples daily that you will find some new blogs that are really 'your cup of tea' as far as common interests and talent level. So hopefully you find some new blogs and friends along the way
So today, I am giving away the set of K. Andrew Stamps and shipping out prizes... Please check your facebook meesages today if you have won a prize in the past.
Lucinda must share my love of christmas.....
She used the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge, she is always so nice and I am lucky to have her on the Design Team. Please make sure you stop by her blog http://thegrowinggibson.blogspot.com/
Melissa (still playing with her NEW Cricut Imagine!) She used the Celebrate with Flourish Cricut Cartridge and the Baby Boutique Imagine Cartridge. She helps me to prove that the Cricut Imagine Baby Boutique Cartridge is not jsut if you have a baby, VERY common misconception. Her blog to see how she made this card, the inside and out, is http://pinkpolkadotscrapping.blogspot.com
Tanya is doing her first post as a My Cricut Craft Room Design Team member .....
You might already know her from Nonna's Corner though. I told you the team was in a Halloween festive mood! Tanya used Mini Monsters and Elegant Edges Cricut cartridges to make this. She has so many wonderful things over on her blog, make sure to check it out! http://nonnascraftcorner.blogspot.com/
Pattie is new to blogging and everything, but in only a few weeks she has come such a long way! She is now doing multiple pictures and a great explination, Please encouraging her to make and share her Cricut Creations! Pattie used the 3 Birds on Parade, Create a Critter, Ashlyn's Alphabet Cricut Cartridges.
Here is her blog to check her out and watch how she progresses in her blogging abilities :)
Autumn has decided to share with us her Thanksgiving place cards that she made with her Cricut. Autumn used Elegant Edges, Create A Critter and Paper Doll Dress Up and some Tim Holtz Distressing Ink. How adorable! She always has creative way to use her Cricut. She also showed in one of her other psts an easy way to make a waterfall card.... make sure that you check out her blog!
Last and certainly not least today is Tammy S. AKA The Purple Muse, She used a retired but FAVORITE cardtrige in my FAVORITE theme- Very Merry Tags
She made something for Christmas and her blog is in my favorite color. She is very talented as well, just check out her blog and you will see everything that she has created.
